Infrastructure Systems Engineer
We are looking for:
Infrastructure Systems Engineer
- Ability and genuine interest to learn, understand and apply new technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently with minimum supervision, and as part of a team
- Experience and knowledge of one or more server operating systems (Windows or Linux)
- Knowledge and past experience with enterprise storage arrays (SAN) technologies and platforms (FC & iSCSI)
- Experience designing, implementing and managing enterprise backup solutions for DR/BCP
- Knowledge and experience with script languages (e.g. Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.)
- Can navigate the world of APIs and automation
- Experience designing, implementing and managing VMware vSphere environments
- Microsoft MCSA/MCSE Equivalent, Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), LPI-II Certifications (would be considered an asset)
- An MQF Level 5 qualification (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent, OR previous experience working in an enterprise IT environment, with at least four years experience as a preference.
